Hi folks, J.G. Wentworth here.
Every year, our employees gather around their Thanksgiving tables to share in the company of friends and family while paying homage to the pilgrims who landed on these shores almost 400 years ago.
Today, we’d like to talk to them – and you – about a custom we would like to share: right before you start to eat, go around the table one-by-one and ask everyone – young and old alike – the following simple question.
What are you thankful for?
The answers you hear may surprise you. Some folks are thankful for an event or two over the past year – say, a raise on the job, a grade on a test, or an amazing trip they’ve experienced. Others are thankful for their health and well-being. Still others are simply grateful for having the people they love around them.
What’s so great about this moment is how quickly it reminds folks how truly precious life is, and how many amazing things it has to offer each and every one of us.
There’s just so much to be thankful for, isn’t there?
